Diocese of Ambikapur

The Ambikapur Catholic Diocese Association is a non-governmental organization working for social development in the rural areas of Surguja district in Chhattisgarh, functioning for the benefit of the general public rather than any specific religious community or caste, with a special national-policy-aligned focus on the educational upliftment of Scheduled Castes and Tribes. Its objectives, not listed in any order of priority, are broad and are not limited by any sub-clause, aiming to improve the lives of the people it serves. Guided by its vision, the Association dedicates itself to forming and training youth, instilling human values in poor rural students, and supporting the poor and needy toward a dignified life. In its mission, it commits to teaching values, understanding families’ situations through visits, offering appropriate assistance, and enabling self-support through job placements and job-oriented training programs.
